We regret that the campaign can no longer receive contributions. Mark Rosen has bowed out of the race due to the recent redistricting decision by the court. The newly defined 17th Congressional District no longer includes Mark’s home in Larchmont.

In the video of our press conference on March 21, 2012, Mark describes this gut-wrenching decision and endorses Joe Carvin for Congress.

To summarize, Mark stated in a recent press release:

“Given the redistricting that was just announced, I regret that I can no longer run the effective race we envisioned with Congresswoman Nita Lowey. My kids go to Murray Avenue School. This is our home. And, we are not moving. The redistricting has me living outside of Ms. Lowey’s district, and I regret that I must leave the race. I want to thank all of my supporters who have been there helping with their valuable time, effort and money. I am humbled by that support and deeply regret that I cannot take this all the way on your behalf.”
